Polimoda

 Most of the formal italian studying I did while in Italia was at Polimoda, a fashion school in Firenze.  On the way to school there was a bridal shop, coincidence? I think not. I found myself stopping to look in the window each day daydreaming  about the day I'll be designing bridal gowns and flower girl dresses.  Only about one city block to the entrance, and then up the hill! Im not lying and I am not exaggerating when I say that it was crucial, like an intense cardiac workout every morning (so much for trying to gain weight in italy). The school was beautiful though and the view is amazing!  The room they gave us was in the basement, I tried not to complain but often found myself saying "Ho fretto, ho fretto!" (Im cold).

My First Fashion  Show in Italy!

My friend Cristian brought me to a Fashion show during the Men's Fashion week. It was a line of men, women and children's horseback riding clothes for "Cavalleria Toscana"

La mostra è stata grande! Essi hanno giocato Pink Floyd finale. Il cibo che era servito delizioso. The show was great! They played Pink Floyd for the finale. The food they served was delicious.

Milano

Mi è stato solo a Milano per un giorno, ma mi è stato così entusiasta di essere nel settore della moda Capitol d'Italia! Kaitlyn e ho visto quanto si potrebbe in solo poche ore. Poi siamo andati shopping sul Corso Buenos Aries. Dopo abbiamo mangiato cena abbiamo dormire e poi capita vestito come dessert vicino l' uomo.

 I was only in Milan for one day but i was so excited to be in the fashion capitol of Italy! 

Kaitlyn and I saw as much as we could in only a few hours. Afterwards we went shopping on Corso Buenos Aries. After we ate dinner we took a nap and then got dressed up for dessert near l'duomo.

l' duomo di Milano era il mio preferito Chiesa in Italia. Essa è stata Foggy a notte e grande per foto perché la piazza era vuoto. 

l'duomo in Milan was my favorite church in Italy. It was foggy at night and great for pictures because the square was empty.

Supermercato di scarpe? Suona bene per me! Ho acquistato due coppie di scarpe in un mercato delle pulci siamo passati in modo Basilica di Sant' Ambrogio 

Supermarket  of shoes? sounds good to me! I bought 2 pairs of heels at a flea market we passed on the way to basilica Sant'Ambrogio

Il metro era così pulito! Non come la metropolitana a New York City

Chi va a Firenze senza vedere David di Michelangelo?  Ho era entusiasta! La scultura racconta la storia del re Davide e la sua battaglia con Golia. La testa e le mani erano grandi in confronto al suo corpo. I suoi capelli è breve e ricci.

Who goes to Florence without seeing Michelangelo's David? It was a must on my "to see list" so i was excited to see it. The sculpture tells the story of King David and his battle with Goliath.  His head and hands were big in comparison to his body. His hair is short and curly. He is made out of marble and is(... i just had to throw in some characteristics in italian)

My Roman Holiday

Mi andato a Roma con tre dei miei amici. Abbiamo lasciato sabato mattina e sinistra lunedi sera. Sebbene noi era solo per tre giorni abbiamo visto tutto abbiamo veramente voluto vedere, epoi alcuni! Il tempo e stato bello di domenica, cielo limpido e un cieli dom. pioeva la seconda meta del lunedi che e stato un bene perche abbiamo trascorso la maggior parte della giornata a fare shopping.

I went to Roma with three of my friends. We left Saturday morning and left Monday night. Although we were only there for 3 days we saw everything we really wanted to see, and then some! The weather was beautiful on Sunday, clear skies and a shinning sun. It rained the second half of Monday which was fine because we spent most of the day shopping.

La fontana di Trevi ero bello! Abbiamo buttato monete nella fontana che diserderano tornaro un giorno!

The Trevi Fountain was beautiful! We threw coins in the fountain wishing to return one day!

Abbiamo praticato il nostro italiano con Italiano adolescenti a Fontana di Trevi. Essi sono stati da Napoli visitare le incredibili Fontana.
We practiced our Italian with Italian teenagers at the Trevi Fountain. They were from Naples visiting the incredible fountain as well.

Abbiamo divertimento immagini dalla bocca della verità, è stato uno dei miei favoriti in Roma. We have fun pictures from the Mouth of Truth, it was one of my favorites in Roma.

Ho appreso il Pantheon a scuola è stato così emozionante vedere. 

I learned about the Pantheon in school so it was exciting to see it.

This week I learned about different food and where to get them in Italy. Today we went to Mercato Centrale di San Lorenzo to make lists of what we would and would not eat.

the story of La befana in english: On the three wise men's journey to see jesus christ, they stopped to ask for directions from an old witch, who refused to come along or even help. After the men left she decided to take the toys of her passed son to bring to jesus. She never made it to jerusalem, but instead brought the toys and coal to all the italian boys and girls. La befana is celebrated every year in Italia and is like a second Christmas/ Natale.

Dopo abbiamo fatto nostro blog, noi andato attraverso nel' Arno. vediamo piazza signoria, loggia del mercato nuovo/ il cinghiale del tazza e molto di piu! in il mercato, un uomo dire mio tattoo nome un civetta. quando arriviamo il duomo vediamo il ragazzi italiano cantare canzone Natale e la sfilata. incontriamo un studente Americano nome Joseph. Abiti con famiglia Italiano in un citta vincino a Firenze. Guarda la sfilata con mia amiche.  Amo vedere la finestra su Ponte Vechhio, i gioielli sono molto belli. Il mio primo giorno in Italia e stato meraviglioso.

After we made out blogs, we went accross the Arno. We saw piazza signoria, loggia mercato nuovo/ the lucky boar and much more! in the market, a man told me my tattoo is called a "civetta" (owl).  When we arrived at il duomo we saw the italian children sing Christmas songs and the parade. We met an American student named Joseph. He lives with an Italian family in a town next to florence. He watched the parade with my friends and I.  I loved seeing the windows on Ponte Vecchio, the jewelry is very beautiful. Overall, my first day in Italia was wonderful!

Dopo una lunga giornata di viaggio, sono andato un ristorante con mia raggazzi, e il nome Sbarco di Piriati. Ho mangato pizza il cibo e deliscioso! il cameriere vestiti come pirati. e'era anche un ballerino ventre che aveva due costumi. Per dolce io ho mangiato nutella e pizza!

My First meal in florence!

After a long day of traveling, i went to a restaurant with my friends. it is called Sbarco di Piriati (deck of pirates) I ate pizza the food was deliscious. the waitresses were dressed as pirates and there was a belly dancer with 2 costumes. For dessert we had a nutella pizza.
